Treasury Associate
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 + Discretionary Bonus
A well-established international banking institution is seeking a Treasury Associate to join its Treasury team. This role offers broad exposure across liquidity management, correspondent banking, fixed income investments, and ALCO reporting within a collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for someone with a solid treasury or banking operations foundation who wants continued growth and hands-on exposure across multiple treasury functions. The team has found that overly senior candidates often become disengaged due to the hands-on nature of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash positioning, funding, and liquidity activities
- Support fixed income portfolio management, including trade execution and reporting
- Maintain and manage 45–50 correspondent banking relationships
- Handle KYC and compliance documentation for financial institution counterparties
- Prepare treasury, liquidity, and ALCO-related reporting
- Support interest rate, liquidity, and FX risk management activities
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, BSA/AML procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of treasury, banking operations, or corporate finance experience
- Must have exposure to:
- Correspondent banking
- Cash management/liquidity operations
- ALCO reporting
- Fixed income/investment activities
- Strong systems experience with:
- Bloomberg
- LSEG Workspace
- SWIFT
- Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of financial institution KYC processes required
- Arabic language skills are a plus

Reports directly to the Head of Treasury. Individual contributor role with cross-training opportunities into additional treasury functions.
