Assistant Controller (Must have banking exp)(Hybrid)
Located in Manhattan
Base salary $80,000–$100,000 depending on skills and experience
We are seeking an Assistant Controller with strong data analysis, SQL, and Excel skills to join a Financial & Data Control team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on exposure to banking, regulatory reporting, and financial analytics.
Key Responsibilities

Support U.S. regulatory and financial reporting (Fed, NYSDFS, U.S. Department of Commerce)

Analyze and validate financial data related to P&L, balance sheet, capital, and liquidity

Assist with monthly closings, management reporting, and audits

Use SQL and Excel to analyze data and automate reporting

Prepare ad-hoc reports and support data/process improvement projects
Qualifications
-
1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or financial reporting

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel

Strong analytical and communication skills
-
Ability to work on-site in New York
