 Description:

This position will assist with the development strategies and execution of initiatives that are designed to increase the non-Chinese financial institution business. Other responsibilities include coordinating the bank-wide efforts to establish and develop the Clearing Bank, carrying out BSA/KYC duties in business line units, etc.

Compliance
• Conduct comprehensive annual and periodic KYC refresh reviews for existing clients to ensure continued compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines. Ensure that all required client documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and meets legal standards.
• Perform monthly screening of clients, beneficial owners, and related parties against global sanctions lists, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and other watchlists. Ensure timely escalation of potential risks or flagged activities for further investigation.
• Support the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer by assisting with various compliance-related tasks.

Client Coverage/Account Management
• Conduct sales calls/meetings with domestic and international financial institutions (excluding China), actively participate in market research to identify new customers and opportunities, and engage in community activities to enhance the Bank’s visibility.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, identify opportunities to add value to existing relationships, and ensure timely follow-up with financial institutions seeking business opportunities. Coordinate annual client relationship reviews and address customer inquiries promptly.

 Requirements:

• Years of Relevant Experience Required: At least 8 years of banking experience in trade service, treasury Services and/or corporate banking
• Education Requirements: BA/BS degree in business, accounting, computer science, economics, mathematics, finance or statistics required
• Other Relevant Requirements: Bilingual language skills in Mandarin and English is preferred
