Compliance Associate & Associate Corporate Secretary (Hybrid)
Located in Manhattan
Exempt | Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 + Discretionary Bonus Eligibility

Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- 
Support the Senior Compliance Officer in developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that align with laws and regulations. 
- 
Conduct oversight and testing to ensure the adequacy of compliance programs related to insider trading and securities matters, including e-mail monitoring. 
- 
Implement procedures for new regulatory requirements; manage relevant filings and documentation. 
- 
Coordinate and prepare responses for internal or external compliance reviews and examinations. 
- 
Deliver ongoing compliance training sessions for staff and maintain training records. 
- 
Liaise with external counsel and senior management to assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
- 
Conduct internal audits and monitor adherence to corporate rules and regulations. 
Corporate Governance Support
- 
Collaborate with the Corporate Secretary to organize Board, Compliance Committee, and Best Execution meetings—including scheduling, agenda preparation, and drafting minutes. 
- 
Maintain and update governance documents (bylaws, charters, etc.) and coordinate state filings. 
- 
Ensure governance and compliance information is well-documented, accurate, and accessible. 
Experience/Qualifications:
- 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 
- 
Experience: 1–3 years in corporate planning, governance, auditing, compliance, or a related regulatory role. Exposure to compliance processes is a plus. 
- 
Skills: - 
Strong written and verbal communication; able to distill complex issues clearly. 
- 
Excellent organizational and multitasking ability with keen attention to detail. 
- 
Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and a proactive approach to deadlines. 
- 
Fluency in English required.
