About the Opportunity:
Join a leading global financial institution at the heart of Manhattan as a VP of Aviation Finance Marketing. This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in structured finance and a passion for the aviation sector. You’ll play a key role in originating, structuring, and managing complex aviation finance deals, while deepening relationships with top-tier aviation clients.
This position combines relationship management, credit structuring, and product development — perfect for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Originate and manage new and existing client relationships within the aviation industry

Identify client credit needs and propose tailored aviation finance solutions

Structure and prepare comprehensive credit proposals; secure internal approvals in line with credit risk policies

Actively manage a calling schedule</strong>; document client interactions through detailed call reports

Lead negotiations on term sheets, pricing, and documentation (credit agreements and related contracts)

Analyze market trends to determine product pricing and inform product strategy

Drive the onboarding of new customers and products within the bank’s risk appetite

Collaborate with the Middle Office for KYC reviews and compliance documentation

Conduct internal training sessions to share expertise across teams

Ensure full adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and credit risk guidelines
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Sciences, or Liberal Arts required; MBA strongly preferred

Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with 5+ years in structured finance

Proven track record in product management and/or relationship management

Strong grasp of credit and financial analysis principles

Ability to interpret and draft business documents, credit agreements, and deal structures

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and across departments
