Data Operations & Automation Specialist TEMP

Located on-site in Northern New Jersey
We’re seeking a Data Operations & Automation Specialist to join our technology-forward credit union in Northern New Jersey on a temporary assignment that blends technical challenge with meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do:
This is your opportunity to lead the charge on automation and system optimization, working hands-on with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), scripting tools like PowerShell and Python, and BI solutions to enhance how we operate and make decisions.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily operations and performance of core financial systems

Acting as the primary support liaison for users and departments
-
Leading the implementation of RPA/DPA initiatives—from discovery to deployment
-
Designing and automating enterprise data transfer processes
-
Developing BI reports and dashboards that power strategic insights
-
Supporting hardware/software rollouts related to financial system infrastructure
What You Bring:
-
A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related technical field
-
5+ years in a data-intensive environment, ideally within financial services
Fiserv DNA – this is a must
Strong database and analytics
RPA tools
Business intelligence
M365
Azure Cloud

Deep knowledge of financial system architecture and enterprise data flows

Proven ability to automate, streamline, and solve complex system issues

Hands-on skills in RPA, scripting (Python, PowerShell), BI/reporting tools

Strong analytical and mathematical skills
