IT Consultant Temp
Located on-site in Manhattan with a forign bank
Description:
1.Participate in project development activities, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality modules.
2.Design, develop, test, and implement new or existing software programs to meet project requirements.
3.Collaborate in the development of test plans, test cases, and execution of test tasks.
4.Develop and maintain automated functional testing scripts and tools.
Analyze application issues, prepare a solution, and execute the solution. Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
Support the full software development life cycle, including analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents, assist with the analysis, design, development, unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, information security testing, documentation for go-live. Ensure adherence to the change management procedure when implementing application solutions
Requirements:
1. Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
2.Strong experience in developing web applications using Django and Django REST Framework. Experience with Web UI design utilizing HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery
3. Advanced in Python programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
4. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
5. Additional Experience: Experience with Java, Linux, Business Intelligence Tools, and other databases is a plus.
