Junior Compliance/Risk Consultant Temp bilingual Chinese (Banking exp required)
Located on-site in Manhattan
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Bilingual in Chinese and English
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in control testing and operation/enterprise risk management area.
- Adequate knowledge of BSA, AML, US Patriot Act, OFAC, CIP Regulations and consumer compliance
- General knowledge and understanding of bank deposit operations and other related commercial banking and compliance functions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills; Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators and examiners while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Strong decision making, analytical and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Responsibilities:
- Monitor the operational process across department.
- Assist with RCSA testing
- Assist with Compliance Control Testing and Strategic Risk/Reputation Risk Control Testing
- Coordinate with department risk self-assessment, mitigation and monitor controls to minimize risk exposure to the
acceptable extent. - Respond with Independent risk management and third line of defense about risk control or any related inquiry
- Assist in identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risk issues and KRis
- Assist in special projects and tasks for the department as directed
- Assist in updating and revising procedures.
