Job Title: Operations Support Specialist – On Site
Position Summary:
Our Client a Foreign Bank located in MT NYC is seeking a dedicated Operations Support Specialist to join their client services team on-site. In this role, you will deliver essential back-office and operational support to ensure the seamless servicing of client accounts and transactions. You will act as a vital link between front-line client interactions and back-end execution, guaranteeing that client instructions are processed accurately and promptly, inquiries are resolved
fficiently, and service standards are maintained at the highest level. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of banking products, excellent communication skills, and a strong client service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Client Services team in executing a wide range of client instructions, including domestic and international payments, account maintenance, time deposits, loan drawdowns, and trade finance operations such as SBLCs.
- Act as a liaison among clients, front-office staff, and the operations team to ensure timely and precise transaction processing.
- Perform validation checks on client requests and documentation to verify adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and dispatching client confirmations and communications, including SWIFT messages and email correspondence.
- Monitor the progress of client transactions, proactively follow up on pending items, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records and transaction logs in accordance with company procedures and compliance policies.
- Coordinate cross-border requests and transactions with the Head Office in Brazil, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Support the resolution of client inquiries and issues with professionalism and responsiveness.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of banking products such as wire transfers, time deposits, commercial loans, and SBLCs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Fluent in English; Portuguese language skills are highly desirable.
