Matrimonial Attorney – Boutique High Net Worth Practice
A boutique matrimonial law firm serving high-net-worth clients is seeking an experienced Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of matrimonial law experience (10+ years preferred), with strong skills in settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and complex financial matters. Will consider candidates with family law experience
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in custody and financial disputes, with a focus on settlement strategies.

Handle discovery, financial due diligence, net worth statements, depositions, and motion practice.

Draft motions, settlement agreements, pleadings, and trial documents.

Collaborate with forensic accountants and financial experts.

Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and court appearances.
Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.

Proven background in matrimonial law with both settlement and litigation experience.

Strong writing, research, and courtroom skills.

Familiarity with Clio, NetDocuments, Word, Excel, Dropbox or similar tools a plus.
Work Model:

Hybrid: typically in-office 1 day per week (additional as needed).

Technology-enabled systems for efficient remote collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $150K–$175K (under 10 years of experience), $180K–$200K (10+ years).
