Base salary  $150-270K depending on skills and experience

Are you a seasoned project leader with deep expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance? This is your opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role as the SVP of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department.

In this role, you’ll lead the governance, design, and execution of risk-focused projects across departments and risk types, directly supporting regulatory compliance, enterprise resilience, and strategic transformation. You will also manage a small, high-performing team and collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders.


 Your Key Responsibilities

 Project Management Governance

  • Develop and enforce PMO policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.

  • Ensure the bank’s risk-related project management practices meet evolving regulatory requirements.

  • Champion process excellence and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

 Project Delivery Oversight

  • Serve as the central PMO leader for cross-functional risk management initiatives.

  • Lead planning, design, and implementation of technical and process solutions for risk mitigation.

  • Analyze project data (schedules, risks, resource allocation) and identify enhancement opportunities.

  • Guide risk assessments, feasibility studies, cost analyses, and internal/external risk identification.

  • Implement robust controls and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

 Management & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Provide regular, executive-level updates on program status, emerging issues, and risk exposures.

  • Prepare documentation and lead responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.

  • Ensure timely and effective communications across risk, compliance, and technology teams.

 Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of project professionals.


 What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required</strong>; Master’s degree preferred (Business, Risk, or related fields).

  • 13+ years of experience in Project Management and Financial Risk Management.

  • Proven expertise in credit, market, or operational risk in the financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and enterprise risk management frameworks.

  • Experience in system implementation, change management, and cross-functional project execution.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or risk management certifications preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Confident in presenting to executive leadership and regulatory bodies.

  • Bilingual in English & Chinese
