Regulatory Affairs Consultant (Banking)
Located on-site in Manhattan

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and or above;
5+ years of relevant experience including:

 Knowledge of U.S. Banking regulations and compliance risk management.

Specific Skills

  • Ability to implement the banks policies and procedures.  Ability to conduct legal/compliance research, regulatory review and other related skillsets; strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to multitask in high-pressure situations.

Specific Knowledge

  • Knowledge of U.S. Banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC. Comprehensive knowledge of BSA/AML and OFAC related regulations. Knowledge regarding other regulatory compliance such as consumer compliance is preferred.
  • Financial regulatory/legal related area, Must have excellent communication skills, team player, ability to work in fast paced environment, Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • CAMS preferred

  • Primary focus will be on recording regulatory meeting minutes, distribution, tracking, and record retention; backup for Regulatory Affairs inbox; and completion of ad hoc tasks assigned by RAO Head.  Regulatory Affairs Consultant will assist with tracking and coordinating regulatory inquiries with internal stakeholders; and assist Management in the tracking and preparation of status reports and regulatory updates.
     

  • Properly maintaining and updating RAO trackers including, but not limited to, regulatory affairs communications, meetings, exams, etc. to ensure actions are completed by internal deadlines
