We have a Foreign Bank Client locateds MT NYC seeking a dedicated IT Analyst to join their team This onsite role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic banking environment, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to maintaining secure and efficient technology infrastructure.This is a FT role with an excellent benefit package that includes no cost to employee and eliigible dependents.Base salary up to USD83,200.00

Position: IT Analyst (Onsite)
Location: New York, NY (On-site – 4 days/week)
Department: Information Technology

About the Role:
As an IT Analyst, you will be the frontline support for all technology-related needs at our New York branch. You will play a crucial role in maintaining system stability, enhancing cybersecurity, supporting core banking systems, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Your collaboration with both local and head office IT teams will be key to delivering outstanding service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain and monitor the branch’s IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, firewalls, routers, printers, and backup systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot core banking applications and interfaces connecting with the head office.
  • Coordinate incident response and change management activities with the IT team in Brazil, ensuring smooth communication and implementation.
  • Enforce compliance with U.S. cybersecurity regulations and internal data protection protocols.
  • Manage and document IT assets, including tracking inventory and configurations.
  • Develop, update, and follow IT procedures, policies, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Support internal and external audits or regulatory inspections with accurate documentation and system readiness.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and offboarding departing staff by configuring user permissions and managing equipment.
  • Participate in IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and the deployment of new systems to support branch growth and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or related roles—preferably within a financial institution or multinational setting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of networking, Microsoft Windows Server/Client environments, Office 365, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced banking environment.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with AS400 systems and SWIFT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of core banking systems and compliance-related IT controls.
