Vice President – FIU Transaction Monitoring Team Lead
Location: Manhattan, NY. HYBRID
Base Salary: $140K–$160K + Bonus (DOE)
We’re seeking an experienced Transaction Monitoring Team Lead to oversee a high-performing FIU team at a Manhattan-based bank. This role is ideal for a compliance leader with strong AML/BSA expertise, technical skills, and deep knowledge of U.S. commercial banking operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of FIU analysts.

Oversee daily alert reviews and act as escalation point for complex cases.

Optimize transaction monitoring systems, tuning rules to enhance detection and reduce false positives.

Develop KPIs and dashboards to ensure regulatory alignment and quality performance.

Collaborate with senior management on automation, system upgrades, and process improvements.

Prepare for and support audits, exams, and remediation.
Qualifications
-
5+ years in AML/BSA compliance, with leadership in transaction monitoring.

Strong understanding of U.S. commercial and middle-market banking products.

Hands-on experience with system tuning, calibration, and procedure updates.

Excellent communication skills for regulators, auditors, and executive stakeholders.

CAMS, CFE, CRCM, or CCRP strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
