Associate/AVP – Financial Operations Analysis
Onsite | Manhattan, NYC
Base Salary: $42,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience and role level)
We’re looking for driven professionals to join our Financial Operations Analysis team at either the Associate or AVP level. Whether you’re looking to build on your solid foundation or step into a leadership role, this position offers the opportunity to grow within a reputable financial institution and directly contribute to critical post-trade operations.
What You’ll Do

Manage securities transactions—settlements, trade confirmations, reconciliations

Handle corporate action events: dividends, mergers, splits, and more

Administer and ensure compliance with global withholding tax regulations

Prepare and deliver detailed client reports, including holdings and tax summaries
-
Resolve settlement exceptions and corporate action discrepancies
-
Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive solutions
-
Identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities
As an AVP, you’ll also:

Lead and mentor junior team members

Own operational workflows and cross-functional initiatives
What You Bring
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

Experience:
-
Associate: 3–5 years in custody operations or related field
-
AVP: 5–8 years with progressive responsibility

Deep understanding of securities settlement, SWIFT messaging, and major systems (DTC, Euroclear, Clearstream)
-
Proficiency in corporate actions and custody-related tax regulations
-
Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
-
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities

Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards

Familiarity with custody banking platforms

Understanding of various asset classes (equities, fixed income)

Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies
