AVP – Operational Risk Governance Bilingual Chinese-English Onsite – Manhattan, NYC
Base Salary: $65,000 – $140,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

 We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AVP of Operational Risk Governance to join our growing team in Manhattan. If you’re fluent in Chinese and English and have a strong foundation in risk management and banking, this could be your next big move.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree (required)

  • At least 5 years of banking experience

  • Minimum 2 years in operational or enterprise risk management

  • Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, governance practices, and internal control principles

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese

  • Confidence working cross-functionally and independently in a high-stakes environment


 What You’ll Do

  • Risk Reporting: Collect, review, and aggregate operational risk data from departments; analyze and prepare reports for executive committees and the Head Office.

  • Governance: Serve as administrator for the Operational Risk Committee (ORC)</strong>; manage risk-related policies, procedures, and regulatory engagements.

  • Audit & Regulatory Support: Coordinate audit reviews and regulatory meetings, ensuring documentation and materials are accurate and up to date.

  • Policy Execution: Drive adherence to internal ORM policies and contribute to strategic departmental goals.

  • Administrative Oversight: Support record retention, asset management, and special projects as needed.
