International Preferred Banking Specialist
On-site in Manhattan | $55,000–$65,000 base, depending on experience and skills

Our client, a bank in Manhattan, is looking for an International Preferred Banking Specialist to serve high-net-worth international and domestic clients. You’ll be their trusted point of contact, helping them manage complex cross-border banking needs while keeping every relationship secure and compliant.

What you’ll do
Build client relationships
• Grow and deepen long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Review portfolios with clients and share updates, performance and market trends
• Help develop and promote lending, commercial and personal banking products
Deliver exceptional service
• Open and maintain accounts, explain products and answer day-to-day questions
• Handle wire transfers, foreign exchange and cross-border payments
• Provide debit card service, from issuing cards to managing fraud alerts
• Set up and support online banking for individuals and businesses
Keep everything compliant
• Complete due diligence, including OFAC, Bridger, Instant ID and ChexSystems checks
• Resolve post-review exceptions and requests for information (RFIs)
• Keep client files accurate and current (W-8s, IDs, CIF data, dormant accounts and more)
• Support the bank’s AML and KYC programs
What you bring
• 2–3 years of banking experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Technical studies required; a degree in business, economics, finance, management or international business is a plus
• BSA/AML certification preferred; credit training a plus but not required
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfort reading corporate legal documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software
