Risk Manager Consultant Temp
Located on-site in Manhattan
Job Description:
The FLU Risk Manager is responsible for executing the risk management processes and manages the risks within its department, including but are not limited to conducting risk assessments, testing the controls, identifying and reporting risks and issues, monitoring the department’s adherence to risk management policies and procedures, and performing tasks required under data privacy program, coordinate within department to complete user recertification, and report any information security or data privacy incidents.
The person will report to QCU section head and Branch manager.
Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge in risk management processes and principles, regulatory and compliance, BSA/AML/OFAC, financial/Banking Industry, business line and process flow, due diligence process and audit knowledge
Conduct risk assessments pertaining to the respective risk areas (e.g. RCSA, Compliance control testing)
Maintain a control inventory, process mapping and other documentation as applicable
Develop control testing plan
Conduct control testing (e.g. RCSA, Compliance control testing), report results, monitor control issue remediation as applicable and validate issue closure documentation
Years of Relevant Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of Banking experience required ; Minimum 2 years of Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control experience required
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics required.
