Third-Party Risk Management Officer (AVP)
New York, NY | Hybrid (2 days in-office) | $120,000–$145,000
A leading global bank is seeking a Third-Party Risk Management Officer to join its Americas Division. This is a great opportunity for a risk professional who wants to build and shape a growing TPRM function within a well-established international financial institution.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead second-line oversight of third-party risk assessments, due diligence, onboarding, and monitoring across the vendor lifecycle
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, and Operational Risk to ensure vendor contracts include proper risk provisions
- Monitor vendor performance, cybersecurity assessments, and financial health, escalating issues as needed
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and reporting to senior management and the Risk Committee
- Help build out a new U.S.-wide Third-Party Risk Framework across multiple affiliated entities
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 4+ years in Third-Party/Vendor Risk, Operational Risk, or Vendor Compliance at a banking organization
- Familiarity with Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, FFIEC, SEC, or NYDFS regulatory expectations
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, and senior stakeholders
This role offers visibility into a bank’s broader U.S. governance strategy and the chance to shape process improvements at both the local and enterprise level.
