Salary: $70000 – $90000
CRE Loan Underwriter bilingual Chinese (Houston)
located on-site in Houston, Texas
Base salary $70-90k depending on experience and skills
Essential Functions:
A. Retail Banking
-Develop new consumer customers and process the account opening procedure
-Follow the bank’s policy and procedure, including but not limited to Credit, Compliance, Operations
B. Corporate Banking (CRE, C& I)
– Develop new corporate customers and process the account opening procedure
-Assist AO doing review and analysis of loan applications to ensure they are within lending guidelines.
– Review loan documents and perform the underwriting process
– Assist AO on all loan approval related work
-Complete the input and approval process through related systems
-Perform the credit monitoring and loan portfolio management, conduct the loan review process with assistance from AO.
-Follow the banks policy and procedure, including but not limited to Credit, Compliance, Operations
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Three plus years of CRE underwriter or relationship management experience and knowledge of the regional market
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Mandarin.
Travel Requirements:
Moderate travel within the region is required to visit prospective customers/clients.
