IT Audit Consultant Temp
Located on-site in Manhattan
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 4-10 years of work experience including in a role performing IT Infrastructure, application and system implementation at a medium – large financial services organization, preferably for a risk or audit function.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management
- Experience in ensuring documentary sufficiency of analytical procedures to support audit standards and bank regulatory expectations
- Experience as a bank examiner, auditor, consultant or compliance professional with a strong understanding of IT risks
- Experience and knowledge dealing with IT Audit Standards (FFIEC) and frameworks (NIST, ISO, ITIL, etc.)
- CISA/CISSP/CISM preferred
Job Description:
- Perform assigned audits by executing approved audit programs and questionnaires
- Ensure the delivery of audit reports and IAD feedback is complete, insightful, timely, error free and concise
- Prepare a summary of audit findings and recommendations
- Draft audit reports communicate audit findings to the auditees
- Summarize issues in the audit issues database
- Attend the training for banking and IT related topics
- Develop and apply baseline knowledge of applicable banking laws, regulations and guidelines, including FFEIC IT handbooks
- Optimize the use of the audit workflow tool, when available
