Data Analysis Temp Consultant
located on-site in Manhattan
Responsibilities:
·Perform data analysis of the databases and systems at the bank to facilitate with implementation of relevant projects and identification of data issues and gaps
·Perform user testing of the system implementation and communicate with IT function on the identified issues
·Automate reporting processes and/or reports via various appropriate technology to improve reporting efficiency
·Document the business requirements and specifications for the system implementation
·Create user reports and conduct data analysis per user requirements by querying against the databases
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree required and master’s degree preferred, Majors of Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Business Analysis, Statistics, Economics and related majors are preferred.
·At least 1+ years of work experience in system development, programing; data/business analysis, reporting; financial/banking industry (preferably in risk management)
·Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Financial Engineering, Business Analysis, Statistics, Economics and related majors
·Proficiency in one or more programing languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML, etc.
·Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.) and Microsoft Excel, Access, etc.
·Ability to write business requirements documents (BRD) or functional requirements documents (FRD)
