Temporary Compliance Analyst (Six Month Assignment) In Office
Location: New York, NY
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to perform quality reviews across AML, OFAC and KYC activities, ensuring work is completed in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on reviewing transaction monitoring alerts, OFAC messages, KYC/CIP files, 314(a)/legal requests and AML blacklist items, as well as QA over SARs and continuing activity reports, providing feedback and recommendations to improve quality and processes.
You will partner closely with first line teams and internal stakeholders, deliver clear QA feedback, and support the Quality Control Officer and QA Manager in remediating issues and enhancing procedures. The role also provides support to AML, OFAC and KYC operational teams as needed, assisting with alert dispositions, research and case work, so the ideal candidate is agile, detail?oriented and able to work independently.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, accounting, etc.)

5+ years’ experience in Compliance (AML/OFAC/KYC); CAMS preferred

Strong knowledge of AML laws, typologies, red flags, OFAC sanctions and screening controls

Experience with AML/OFAC/KYC systems and SAR processes

Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills; strong team player; able to work independently
