About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP), Relationship Management professional to join our team in Manhattan. In this key client-facing role, you’ll work closely with domestic and international financial institutions (excluding China) to expand business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and contribute to the Bank’s strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions globally (except China) through proactive meetings and sales calls.

Identify new business opportunities through detailed market research and industry analysis.

Represent the Bank at networking and community events to enhance visibility and brand presence.

Monitor customer portfolios, analyze account activity, and identify opportunities to add value and expand services.

Ensure compliance through annual and periodic account reviews, client screenings, and documentation updates.

Collaborate across departments to execute strategic projects and marketing initiatives.

Prepare professional marketing materials in alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (required).

Minimum 5 years of experience in trade services, treasury services, or corporate banking.

Strong understanding of correspondent banking, product management, and relationship management.

Insight into U.S.–China economic and political relations is highly valued.

Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English preferred.
