IT Support Specialist (L1/L2) – Financial Services Temp Assignment
Location: NYC In Office
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading financial services organization seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their End User Computing (EUC) team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated IT professional to deliver high-quality support across business users and systems while growing within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing systems.

Diagnose and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues.

Escalate complex problems to Tier 2 teams and follow through to resolution.

Ensure SLA compliance and maintain user satisfaction by giving regular status updates.

Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.

Support the installation and configuration of enterprise hardware/software solutions.

Maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac) and ensure smooth network/server operations.

Collaborate with vendors, business users, and technology teams to address issues and changes.

Adhere to Information Security and audit compliance standards.

Contribute to knowledge base articles and reporting for issue trends and resolution tracking.
Qualifications
-
3–8 years of IT support experience in end-user computing.

Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.

Hands-on experience with MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF) is a plus.

ITIL v3 certification (basic or intermediate) preferred.

Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against deadlines.
