Part time/HR Generalist Contractor

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY WITH AN INTERNATIONAL FIRM IN NY 

  • First point of contact for employees (primarily) as well as the Team Heads in the areas of responsibility
  • Support the HR Business Partner with implementing human resources relevant activities including recruitment, workforce planning, salary reviews, contract changes, etc.
  • Lead on-boarding and exit processes in area of responsibility
  • Lead the running of payroll and benefits in USA , including acting as first point of contact for payroll related queries and liaising with relevant providers
  • Lead the organization of the time management and HR personnel management systems in area of responsibility and act as interface to relevant providers
  • Management and analysis of human resources related data, drives and files, processing of human resources administrative processes and documents and team member for conceptual development and implementation of guidelines and policies as required

 

Education

  • Relevant University Degree or equivalent

Professional Experience

  • Several years of experience in operational HR activities in a similar role (MULTI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE A PLUS)
  • Several years of experience in managing international payrolls and benefits (in applicable jurisdiction)

Functional Expertise

  • Good knowledge of HR tools, 401K, PROFIT SHARING AND BENEFITS
  • Good Knowledge of international employment law 
  • Good knowledge of payroll processing and taxation rules 
  • Professional Employer Organization (PEO) knowledge  

    Ability to perform a conversion to a PEO

Systems Knowledge

  • ADP PAYROLL OR SIMILAR
  • Good knowledge of HR Information Systems
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office applications

 

Language Knowledge

  • Very good knowledge in English
  • Good knowledge in German is an advantage BUT NOT NECESSARY
