Ready to take the lead in shaping a bank’s risk strategy? Our client, a well-established foreign bank in NYC, is seeking a senior Risk Management leader to oversee enterprise-wide risk, strengthen frameworks, and guide strategy across operational, financial, IT, and information security risks.

This is a high-visibility role working with executive leadership and global teams—ideal for someone who thrives in a strategic, multicultural environment and wants to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years in risk management within banking/financial services

  • Strong leadership experience managing risk teams

  • Deep knowledge of operational, market, liquidity, and IT/cyber risk

  • Solid understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements

  • Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder skills

Nice to Have

  • Compliance background

  • Experience in global or cross-border environments

  • FRM, CFA, CISA, or related credentials

Education & Details

  • Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred

  • Start date: Feb 2026 (possible January)
