Local Operational Risk Manager | NYC | Hybrid
Our client, A leading financial institution is seeking a Local Operational Risk Manager (LORM) to join its 1st Line of Defense. This key role supports risk identification, control implementation, and governance oversight across business lines.
What you’ll do:
- Challenge and support 1LoD risk decisions
- Lead ORMF rollout and risk assessments
- Oversee incident tracking and control effectiveness
- Manage governance meetings and loan review reporting
What we’re looking for:
- 5–10 years in risk, credit, or finance
- Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player with an independent mindset
