Are you an experienced banking professional with a passion for business development, relationship management, and credit risk analysis? As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Customer Relationship Manager in our Corporate Banking team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work with a dynamic portfolio, collaborate with high-level clients (including Fortune 500 companies), and be an integral part of our growth strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen ongoing relationships with clients while identifying new opportunities for business expansion.
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies to promote loan products and services (e.g., syndicated loans, treasury services).
  • Collaborate with brokers and institutions to drive growth and secure new business opportunities from Fortune 500 companies and other high-profile clients.
  • Oversee a diverse loan portfolio, managing client inquiries, payments, and documentation to ensure smooth and efficient servicing.
  • Take charge of market research to identify emerging business trends, giving you the power to lead strategic decisions.
  • Credit Risk & Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence and detailed credit analyses for potential deals, evaluating financial stability and risk assessments.
  • Ensure the appropriate pricing, terms, and profitability for all deals while managing credit risk and reporting any unusual activities to senior management.
  • Portfolio Management & Post-Lending Support:

  • Monitor and manage your loan portfolio, addressing any exceptions or unusual activities promptly.
  • Lead your team in post-lending monitoring, ensuring accurate loan processing, closing, and renewals.
  • Review loan documents to ensure compliance, maintaining accurate documentation for timely approvals and execution.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Oversee the compliance of all loan activities, ensuring adherence to key regulations such as KYC, BSA, and AML.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance teams to structure, negotiate, and finalize commitment letters and term sheets.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving standards.

    What You Bring to the Table:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in corporate lending and customer relationship management, with strong experience in credit analysis and risk management.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in corporate finance, financial modeling, ratio calculation, cash flow projections, and scenario analysis.
    • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and engage with clients and internal teams alike.
    • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of banking regulations (AML, BSA, KYC) and corporate credit analysis.
