CRE Relationship Manager (Hotel Industry Experience) – Hybrid
Base Salary: $185,000 – $225,000 (Depending on Skills and Experience)

As a CRE Relationship Manager, you’ll take charge of originating and managing hotel loan transactions, building relationships with top-tier clients, and leading hospitality financing initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Relationship Building: Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with national hotel owners, private equity firms, and institutional hotel owners. Act as the trusted advisor and primary contact for clients in your portfolio.
- Transaction Management: Review and evaluate hospitality financing transactions, including loan purpose, sponsor, location, collateral, LTV, DSCR, and competitive market conditions. Prepare transaction prescreen memos and term sheets, and seek appropriate credit approvals for modifications.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with Credit Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Senior Management, legal counsel, and vendors to guide transactions from origination through to maturity.
- Credit and Compliance Oversight: Review loan documentation and ensure that all compliance, regulatory, and account-related matters are handled effectively. Present Credit Applications to the Credit Committee, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and structure.
- Industry Representation: Represent the Bank at key hotel industry events, conferences, and forums, developing a pipeline of new clients and referral sources.
Qualifications Needed:
- Industry Expertise: Proven ability to attract and retain high-quality sponsors in the hotel industry, and deep knowledge of hospitality finance, including sophisticated financial skills and underwriting capabilities.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in hospitality finance, with substantial experience in hotel industry transactions. Experience in construction finance is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative analysis skills and an in-depth understanding of financial metrics related to hospitality finance, including structuring loans to meet the Bank’s investment criteria.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality Management. MBA or MS in Hospitality Management or Finance is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead discussions, prepare high-level presentations, and liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
