CRE Portfolio Manager (Hotel Industry Experience) – Hybrid

As a CRE Portfolio Manager, Vice President, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing and managing a diverse real estate portfolio, including hospitality properties, in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage an assigned commercial real estate portfolio, with an emphasis on hospitality loans, ensuring all client deliverables and compliance with loan agreements are met.
- Credit Needs: Collaborate with Relationship Managers and the Credit Division to facilitate client needs through loan modifications, extensions, and renewals.
- Analytical Expertise: Provide in-depth analysis and sound recommendations on credit requests. Ensure timely and accurate execution of approved credit requests and modifications.
- Credit Committee Presentations: Prepare detailed presentations for the Credit Committee, covering all aspects of assigned portfolio performance.
- Liaison Role: Serve as the key point of contact between Relationship Managers, Credit Division, borrowers, lenders, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless communication.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Real Estate Finance (underwriting or portfolio management), with specific experience in hotel industry loans strongly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of CRE finance and all property types, including hospitality, multifamily, office, retail, industrial, and condominiums. Experience in construction lending is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to perform detailed CRE underwriting and analysis.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are consistently met.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to research property status, including taxes, violations, and title information.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
