Senior Credit Analyst-Project Finance (Hybrid)
located in Manhattan
Salary Range:$130,000.00 To $165,000.00 Annually depending on skills and experience
Your Responsibilities:
- Credit Evaluation & Deal Maintenance: Assess potential assets in the clean energy space, conducting comprehensive financial analysis and making investment recommendations.
- Deal Structuring & Business Development: Provide bespoke credit solutions, contribute to deal structuring activities, and engage in business development to build and maintain long-term relationships with key developers.
- Ongoing Credit Monitoring: Monitor the health of assigned assets and portfolios, performing cross-sectional analysis, cashflow assessments, and market value reviews to ensure ongoing credit quality.
- Investment Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to investment guidelines and regulations, preparing reports and ensuring timely documentation and financial reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations Analysts, senior management, and other teams to support ongoing deal activities, refinancings, amendments, and regulatory reviews.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and enhance team performance.

Your Qualifications:
- Education: MBA or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis, particularly within the renewable energy market, with a solid understanding of tax equity structures.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access) and advanced financial modeling skills, including sensitivity analysis.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the US renewable energy market and the banking industry, including products, services, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team, provide mentorship, and foster professional development.
