C&I Loan Closer Hybrid
located in Manhattan
Salary-$80-95kdependent on experience and skills

Experience Needed: 3+ years of experience closing loans, together with a solid working knowledge of the loan closing process and the legal issues that arise, as well as an understanding of the business analysis that supports each transaction.

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with front and back office teams to maximize the quality of the bank’s C&I Portfolio by performing research, evaluating opportunities and assessing challenges related to loans pending, current, and scheduled for close.
  • Analyze loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and conformity with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Document necessary paperwork for new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications in alignment with standard operating procedures. This includes the preparation of internal loan input sheets for ACBS on-boarding.
  • Support loan officers and processors communicating with customers, attorneys, Bank reps etc., to coordinate details of loan closings, identify and clear all exceptions within the appropriate time periods.
  • Oversee pipeline to assure delivery and execution of commitment as well as ensure clearance of outstanding due diligence requirements.
  • Review and Prepare Funding Wires.
  • Participate in various departmental and divisional special projects.
  • Conduct “next day” review of all closings to ensure all items have been properly set up within the system.
