Job Summary:
The Head of Operations reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for directing and overseeing the bank’s back office functions, including funds transfers and wire clearing, loan operations, trade finance operations, treasury operations and electronic banking operations.
-Strong knowledge and working experience with, Trade finance, loan operations,
treasury operations, funds transfers and wire clearing in a Correspondent banking environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Minimum of 15 years’ experience of operational responsibility in an international
bank with hands-on experience with Trade Finance, Loans Treasury Operations
and U.S Dollar (wire) clearing operations and servicing of emerging market
Financial institution & Corporate customers.
-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
-In-depth knowledge of ICC rules, letters of credit practices and procedures, wire
clearing, payment processing and loan administration; paying and receiving
functions; Treasury back office operations (including foreign exchange, money
market and securities).
-Working knowledge of U.S accounting practices.
-In-depth knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements, including sanctions and Anti Money Laundering, applicable to trade finance and correspondent banking.
-Change agent; demonstrated bias for action and sense of urgency. Ability to
influence and work effectively with senior managers and with teams across
countries, functions and businesses.
-Ability to travel as necessary within and outside the USA as required by the job.
-Proficiency in the use of SWIFT, Fedwire and ACH systems.
-Working knowledge and experience with Finacle Core, Finacle Treasury, FBTI and GFT.
