Entry-Level Quality Assurance Tech
Are you a Foodie? Would you like to combine your love of food with your Biology or Chemistry degree? If so, we have a great opportunity available. Our client, an expanding food manufacturer and supplier, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech. Our client manufactures canned seafood products as well as offers quality seafood and a variety of high volume commodity items such as canned fruits and vegetables for the retail, foodservice and industrial trade. Great Bergen County location, easy commute for Bergen County resident. 


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 
  • 1 year of related experience. 
  • Knowledgable in HACCP, Food Defense, FSMA, BRC/IFS, Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and other food safety and quality regulations and thermal processing. 
  • Strong manufacturing process experience, multi-tasking and people management skills.
  • Capacity to conduct chemical and microbiological analysis. 


  • Oversee the Quality Assurance Department by implementing an effective and efficient assurance management. 
  • To conduct sensory evaluation of the finished products and provide the result of the analysis on time.
  • Develop limits and quality standards to be followed by every department that follows regulatory requirements. 
  • Responsible in the implementation of corrections actions in case of non-conformances.
