NY Branch of European Bank seeking Letter of Credit Pro to review LC files. Will require commute to client MT NYC location and possible remote.
10-15 years Trade Finance Experience in Letters of Credit and/or Compliance • Proficient knowledge of Compliance and Financial Sanctions regulations involving Trade Finance, including Letters of Credit • Knowledge of the ISP 98 and UCP 600 Regulations • Ability to perform independent Quality Assurance review on Trade Finance transactions and related documentation for OFAC sanctions • Independently perform compliance review and checks on existing transactions, such as: (i) Screening on the intervening parties against internal and external lists; (ii) Review all countries involved in the transactions, (iii) Check for underlying goods to the transaction; among other checks as necessary; • Well-developed written, verbal and analytical skills • Strong knowledge of Excel • Previous experience in managing staff • Previous experience in coordination of small projects and ability to prepare periodic status reports • Knowledge of Fircosoft on Line and Fircosoft Continuity
