Life Insurance Sales Trainer

We’re looking for a Sales Trainer to support our Life Insurance Sales team. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in selling individual life insurance policies, demonstrable and comprehensive product knowledge from a large variety of carriers and excellent coaching skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Closely interact with advisors to discuss and assist with specific cases, and provide feedback and guidance on an ongoing basis

  • Develop and compile user-friendly and results driven training materials to support the Sales team & onboard new Sales Advisors

  • Collaborate with both the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure an excellent customer experience and optimal workflow  

  • Support business and product efforts, suggest and implement improvements to current flows, procedures and tools aimed to support advisors’ role

  • Stay current with broader industry trends, guidelines and best practices

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in life insurance sales

  • Prior experience coaching and onboarding both entry level and senior sales team members

  • Excellent product knowledge and familiarity with multiple carriers

  • High sense of urgency and problem-solving state of mind

  • A teamwork mindset – take ownership of your work AND your team's success, and take initiative

  • Must feel comfortable working and adapting to new technologies and have an ability to navigate multiple systems
